469th Service Squadron, preformed heavy maintenance on all the 357th FG Mustangs, such as wing changes or anything the squadrons could not handle.

Radio Direction Finder (RDF) Silo at Site 13. Leiston Radio Beacon used for Naviagtion.

363 FS Crew Chief Line Shack. Made out of wood from packing crates and decorated with names of home towns, favorite bars or mileage markers. These provided shelter to the ground crews. Armorer Percy Signore poses with a .50 caliber machine gun.

The WWII airborne photos of Leiston Airfield were taken by Bob Prante from a 100th Bomb Group B-17. Bob was a 364th FS armorer and later transferred to the 357th FG Photo Shop.
