and was shot down deep in France, March 16, 44,
and we got no word about him.

One of our early replacements. Finished tour OK
and destroyed one plane.

Finished tour OK getting about 3 jerries. In
same class with me. He had gone to South Pacific
now for second tour of duty.

Finished his tour after knocking down 8 planes.
Is back in states now with a good job near home.

Pete was Ass't. Comm. Off. for the 362nd and
later went to group as their radar officer.

Johnny got six planes during his tour of duty
and finished OK. He is now in South Pacific
with Norris and Drollinger. We both got our
first plane the same day.

A very hot pilot. Had two planes destroyed
when he went down. Had his hand shot off
and back injured and died in PW camp 10 hrs.
after landing in Germany. Went down March 16, 44.
